As M and I planned to watch the final of the Women’s World Cup on the TV this morning, we decided a little fresh air would be a good thing first.

We drove to the beach at Weybourne and as you can see it was a beautiful morning. We walked up a the cliff a little way and very much enjoyed watching the sand martins whizzing around catching flies…such agile and attractive little birds.

It was such a shame our girls lost out on winning but nevertheless they should be very proud of how far they went in the tournament. Second in the world is not a bad result.
