Parasol mushroom?

Tuesday was sunny and J's PA was here, so I climbed the hill earlier in the day than usual and enjoyed better light on and under the many mature trees in the hilltop meadow. It's not surprising that there should be a lot of mushrooms, in an area which, as I discovered in the spring, was still wooded seventy years ago, possibly more recently. There are a wide variety of trees, oaks, ashes, hawthorns, field maples and more, supporting a number of different types of fungi. I'm hopeless at fungi identification, and I didn't pick or otherwise get underneath them to see the gills, but this is probably some kind of parasol mushroom.
