One Less Thing To Worry About

After getting up this morning, I went to have my usual Sunday morning - crosswords and reading but as I sat at my desk things just didn't feel right.

When my mouth waters, I know that is a signal that I'm going to throw up - quick smart to the bathroom and just in time.  There was only water but the effort involved in throwing up strains every muscle I have.  It's painful and unpleasant and sadly very loud.

The last time I had that kind of start to the day, I had COVID.  It seemed sensible to take a test.  Thankfully negative but I've still been feeling out of sorts all day.  Drinking plenty of water but still haven't managed to eat anything.

I was so unsure about getting better, I had to cancel my donkey shift - I honestly don't know if I could have got to the field.  And it felt fairer to cancel early than to wait and then to cancel at 4:30.

Still feeling sodding miserable.
