Super Sunday

After a morning chilling out and watching the World Cup final, the guys went off to Gunnersby Park to watch Boy Genius and friends.

I walked through Acton Park and caught the overground train to the old Olympic Stadium, now home of West Ham. Even the staunchest Irons fan seemed resigned to a thrashing but, cue much mirthful giggling from me, we watched West Ham triumph 3-1 over Chelsea! As Everton were also beaten this afternoon that definitely qualifies as a Super Sunday!

I celebrated back in Acton watching the highlights in a karaoke bar.

Rounded off the day on the balcony of our apartment, eating pizza and listening to the distant sound of the Boy Genius gig.
