Waterloo fields

A lovely walk this morning along the Brampton Way to Waterloo Fields and a lovely lunch. We couldn't understand why it was so quiet as we usually get run over by cyclists. Not a one! and usually lots of dog walkers. Then we realised everyone must be watching the football! By the time we got home everyone was probably out.
I decided I would drive home tonight as on a Sunday there would be very few lorries. I was right and had a great journey up to the M6. It was closed just beyond my junction and a 45 min delay from the junction before it. I did a detour which was nice but did add to the journey but am home now and the washing machine is already on with Oscar's towels and covers. A cleaning day tomorrow!
