MBO Qualifier

Up in Manhattan Beach for our annual visit to the AVP-MBO (Association of Volleyball Professionals-Manhattan Beach Open). During qualifier competition, the players who don't have enough points for the main field, starting tomorrow, play to determine who gets to keep going. In previous years, we knew a number of those competing because of their time on SOB trips. This year, we knew only a single player, shown above, competing today. Everyone else who we have met south of the border is already in the main field, where this young lady ended up after three hard fought victories.
