Gartmorn Dam

We did the three miles circuit around Gartmorn Dam, near Alloa this afternoon, the first time for several years.
 
 Beforehand we treated ourselves to tea and home made cakes from the café .
 
For this nature reserve and country park, part of Alloa's industrial heritage since the decline of mining, is a popular leisure park for local people.
 
 
So sorry to hear of Lioness defeat in the World Cup final but they put up a terrific performance and have put British women’s football on the world stage- something men’s football have singularly failed to do.
