Footie

So, the big football event of the day. Lots of nerves, one team obviously better than the other but would the big match atmosphere get to them? Well no, ‘twas not to be as the Jambos eased to an easy victory over the Jags. Earlier of course there was disappointment for England’s ‘lionesses’ but well done Spain, the better team won!
I was at the big match with Andrea, a wee contrast to seeing Bayern playing in the Alliance Arena but I think she liked the stadium even if the quality of the footie fell short now and then.
We then hot-trammed it down to Leith to meet our better halves in Teuchters. A couple of beers and some scran later we warm-trammed it back up the road to The Windsor, met up with JacktheLad and had a chinwag (sorry, in-joke!) before a final cool tram ride got us heading home.
A long but good day for everyone I think.
