Brian's Bits

Will I remember?

I had a crawl about under the Rhodo. After removing a goodly sample of weeds, plus a layer of old leaves, I found this lot almost ready to flower.  What I'm wondering about remembering is this - For a few years, off and on, I have memory of mentioning the Cyclamen's habit of coiling up its flower stalk, after pollination, resulting in a tight coils spring, which, "at the appointed hour", uncurls to stretch as far from the parent as it can.  I keep forgetting to document the fact.  Let it be this year?
I "blew up" and inserted one of the "springs" to give an idea.  I can't promise it'll be the same one each time, but it/they will show the uncurling, hopefully.
