It's a boy!

Another very hot day.  We went to the little local market this morning and then after lunch took Kitty to the vet who, after a quick look, told us he is a boy!  Lovely to have it confirmed finally.  He was so good in his carrier all the way in the car and also at the vet and didn't seem to want to escape or jump off the table, nor did he flinch when the vet gave him his first injection. She told us he will need two more injections within the next two months and thinks he's approximately 8 weeks old. So young! She listened to his heart and lungs and told us he is in very good health which is great news.  Now we just need to think of a name!  Panda seemed very pleased to see him when we got back.

I took a picture of this lovely yellow hisbiscus in the garden when we got home.  The temperature today was about 34 degrees and we're told it will be up to 39 degrees on Wednesday before they start to drop again.  That will be most welcome!
