Couldn't bear to watch the match .... just caught the last few minutes ..... such a shame but all credit to the Lionesses for reaching the final!

Had another walk this afternoon ...... plenty more dragonflies & damselflies about but I wanted something different for today.

As we were returning home this young Squirrel was running up the road towards us.

It stopped ..... looked at us ...... came closer ..... then closer .... came right in front of us (we stood perfectly still) .... it then walked onto the verge & went round us then returned to the road & carried on!  

What a treat to have a wild animal feel safe enough to get so close to us!

This little chap just had to be my blip for being so trusting :-)
