Sea Breeze

The backlit headland appeared very dark against a moody sky. Although warm, once up to cliff height, a stiff sea breeze buffeted my jacket and tugged at my hat, making walking more of a challenge. I forgot to apply sun cream this morning. No rain was forecast, but the dark clouds led me to think that might change.Fortunately it didn't.

This is a colour image. I don't know why I feel the need to say so. I debated about how dark I should keep the land mass on the left. It seems to make an anchor for the image (a suitably nautical term). Of the frames I shot, this one had most sunspots in the foreground sea, helping to break up the grey sea.
