"Down Under" visitors

This  afternoon, my sister Alison and husband  Peter, arrived at Heathrow from Australia. Their flight from Tokyo had taken them  over Greenland and Iceland, in order to avoid Russia. We were delighted to see eachother again. Although it's only been thirteen months since they  were last here, lots has happened and is happening to  family here, hence their return now.
Earlier, when in my Mum's garden I noticed  this upside down bee feeding on the flowers of the  Leycesteria formosa bush. How do they do that?!
