When we are driving through the bush to get to the mapping areas we have to stick to tracks that our team have previously driven. We use GPS devices to find these tracks because after one wet season you can't see a trace because of the vegetation growth. 

When we park the car to work, we have to look for patches of dirt without grass, as the underside of the car can get hot enough from driving to start a fire.
