A stroll around town after recycling and shopping today, busy enough still in the last week before the schools start back.
Later I picked Z up from the mobile library in Ross and we dropped down to  see Rain in her and Bill's place just outside Skib. She and Bill were good friends of Jo and Liam and we gave her a little piece of Jo's crockery as a memory. We had a good chat about plants, placebos and how it's probably better to be a 'blow-in' than a native in West Cork. They blew in 45 years ago, Rain an Australian and Bill an American, met in a hippy commune in Haight Ashbury back in the 60s. As you do.
