Old friends

We first met Lis and Paco 37 years ago when we all worked teaching English, or Portuguese, to Swedish aid workers heading out to, among other places, East Africa, Angola, and Mozambique. It was fun working with such people, both the students and the other teachers! Nina, on the end of the table, is their daughter. She came along a little later!

In summer they live here in Sweden and in winter home is in, or near Porto.  We'll meet up there later, in the autumn, if all goes well.
Rose is at the other end of the table, providing us with dinner and a lovely evening of food, chat, and wine.
