Fuzzy Balls

I'm really not sure what this is but I liked the look of it.  Perhaps a seedhead or maybe a gall?

A frustrating day today.  I drove to Morecambe to get the car serviced and MOTd ready to drive to Yeovil early tomorrow morning.  However, the car failed its MOT and needs both swing arms of the rear suspension replacing - a job too big for them to complete today.  The cost will be covered by the vehicle's warranty but it was disappointing that this replacement is necessary on a vehicle that is less than 5 years old and has only 25000 miles on the clock.  I had to borrow a car to get back to Grange and will have to rearrange my journey to Yeovil.
