Ensalada mixta

Tomates, lechuga, cebolla morada y espinacas y palangana,
I’ve tried several times when I was younger to learn Spanish. I only ever got so far. I can ask for things. (Donde estan los servicios? Where are the toilets?) My crowning glory was using my limited Spanish to book us into a hotel in Barcelona, something my father-in-law was unable to do. I like the language and most of the culture. One of my dreams is to have a lazy holiday in Cadiz. It’s a lovely coastal city, but well off the package holiday trail. I’d find a friendly bar/restaurant and hang out there. It’s the kind of place where you can do that.
