Friday flowers

Beautiful flowers abound this time of year. These are partly from home, partly from a flower stand.
We woke up to an unexpected thunderstorm, even a little rain. I went for a walk on the dike after the rain.
Hood to Coast, an annual relay race is going on this weekend. Our roads are busy with runners, walkers and support vans.
