It's cooler now. We went for a lovely walk through the Grunewald. Stopped by the pond and watched the dogs for a little while. Onwards to Grunewald Station. Found a great little beer garden which it would have been rude to pass. A small group of people listened to a concert nearby. I presumed it was something to do with the nearby Gleis 17 memorial. During the Nazi regime thousands of Jews were deported from there to the concentration camps where they were murdered. It turns out that the concert was to remember a recent arson attack on Jewish book box (see extra). A 63 year old man was arrested under suspicion he committed this attack and other homophobic attacks elsewhere in Berlin. It is deeply disturbing that some people behave feel the need to attack minorities.
