Legends

After breakfast Elaine and l went to the farmers market in Otley.
Managed to get the last two spinach and ricotta bread pinwheels from the Italian baker, will be having them for breakfast tomorrow.
Back in my village we had a walk to see the scarecrow trail.
Because l’ve been away l’ve missed most of the summer festival but the scarecrows are still on show, the cu de sac near my house decided to do legends from pop music and each scarecrow started playing music as we passed.
These were my favourites for this year but l was pleased to see the winner was won by Hampers for the Homeless a very worthwhile charity that our village plays a huge part in supporting.
This evening we have been to my local for a meal: Elaine having the traditional Sunday roast but for once l chose something different: cheese and lentil pie. Yum.
