Drawn to the Valley

We set out this morning for a trip up the Tamar Valley. Each year local artists show their work in an event called Drawn to the Valley. Some show their work in their own studios while others do so in various community venues. Today we visited Cotehele House and the Tamar Valley Centre at Drakewalls near Gunnislake. The main blip is taken inside one of the Tudor courtyards at Cotehele House. The extra is a print displayed in a blind corridor near the library. I don't think it is related in any way to the exhibition, but it caught my eye. I initially thought it must be quite old. The text reads " Chapter Two: Concerning the Earl's wife. There was a mad lady called Emma, whose husband was in a dilemma: he'd  tear at his wig.......   .....for his wife loved a pig, though not quite enough to condemn her" Then at the bottom it says "Footnote: It has never been proved that Emma used a mobile phone" ! Make of that what you will.
