Vibrant……

Along the road from my driveway are some young street trees. They are magnolias and have recently burst into flower with vibrant, rich red blooms. This morning some had a scattering of tiny raindrops on their petals, still there after last night’s shower of rain.
I visited Springlands Health centre this morning. A charming young GP checked out some small skin cancers, one on a knuckle, another on my nose and a third one on my lower left leg. He zapped two of them with liquid nitrogen but the one on my leg needs a biopsy. That will be done Wednesday. Skin cancers are incredibly common in New Zealand. The very clear skies and hot sunshine makes folks in Marlborough particularly susceptible.
