It's that time of year for prepping Mum and Dad's memorial bench ready for the elements, although all the benches are taken in curtin the winter. It was lovely to be up west and remember all the good times we had together there. The bench has now a worn path to and from it so it's lovely to see it's been appreciated. Plenty of people around and the weather stayed dry for a walk along the beach and a good sniff of exposed seaweed - a smell I forever associate with family holidays!

We went to see 'Oppenheimer' this afternoon. Great film. I think that was it's last showing here and I'm glad we made the effort.
