Idyll between Rain Showers

It hasn't rained all day, but when I finally got myself up for a walk the first shower came down when I got out of the car. It didn't last long and I returned before the next one came down. 
The main photo shows the last rays before the sun disappeared once again behind the dark clouds and before I drove home (did just about make it dry to the door). 
The extra: Every week I see some progress on the observation tower at the Kranichwoog. The workers have one month left to finish it; many moons ago the opening was scheduled for 30. September.
