Bliss....

....a New Zealand Fur Seal basking in the sun, as the tide came in he moved a little further towards the beach, completely contented.

Mum and I had a pleasant beach walk this morning. Many were out today, walkers, dog walkers, joggers and cyclists, a sand artist was also busy creating a couple of masterpieces. We smiled, waved and chatted to others, it became quite a social place to be.

The sea was blue, calm as it glistened in the sun. The Port Hills of Christchurch were clearly visible but looking north it was quite hazy, we could just make out some snowcapped mountains, stunning!

A light breeze this afternoon, washing is dry, folded and put away, a good feeling not to have the horse out. Mornings still a bit brisk, temperatures hovering round 2C, our high today was 17C.

Happy Thursday everyone :)

Edit: Just added a couple of the blue supermoon captured not long after rising. The leaves are from the Ake Ake tree, a New Zealand native tree.
