CRYSALIS

My monarch caterpillars had left the host milkweek plant and I checked the nearby plants for a crysalis. This one I found on the same plant where the monarch butterfly emerged last year from a crysalis and I was able to photograph the process. I am hoping that I will be lucky again this year and I will share it with you.
