Galway

After a slow getaway from our site for last night, we went to look at Galway. What a delightful town, great atmosphere and plenty to interest the photographer. We began with some wrecked boats down near the harbour - wonderful degradation. John had a very interesting conversation with a coupe of other chaps on the different nails used in its construction - some handmade and others by machine!

We are now by the shore at Laughaunbeg for the night - nobody else here, although a few dog walkers go past. It's beautiful.
Earlier, I used the built in ND filters in my camera to slow down the water movement in the waves plus capturing the contrast in light towards sunset.
