Choppy Seas

A late visit to the beach to find the tide in and the seas high. Waves breaking on the rocks throwing up spray drifted inland causing a hazy atmosphere. 

In this direction there were hundreds of gulls rising and falling with the swell. I don't know whether they were enjoying the conditions as much as I did, but I found it exhilarating.

Extra: Run Away. Little Sanderlings with characteristic behaviour ran away from the incoming waves in an amusing display. Reminded me of a Monty Python sketch.
