Paper Mill Lock

Day three of my stay with my sister and miraculously there was sun again! After dropping off my nephews at school, we went to Paper Mill Lock for another lovely country walk along the water and through the fields, then we drove to Maldon for a walk around.

We couldn't believe our ears when we heard a cuckoo again! Two days running and incredible after not hearing one for so many years. I'll probably never hear another again (well, it's extremely unlikely I'll hear one in the centre of Greenwich!)

I've finally got my photo of a field of rape seed too!
