Safely Gathered In

Seeing the crops gathered in always takes me back to the school harvest festival where we sang We Plough The Fields And Scatter and Come Ye Thankful People Come in a special service where parents were invited.  We were asked to donate fruit, vegetables and tinned food and these were distributed by the older pupils to the elderly people in the village.
