The winding stair

Outside stair down from the roof, very common for this type of house. I do like the shape and size of them.
Tennis, M injured by severe attacking volley from H. H says he’s sorry but he will do this shot and - as we all say - Something Will Happen. Briefly thought M’s finger might be broken but just very bruised.
Home for quiet times. Weather definitely cooler - well, it is September, after all, we all say to each other. Swam 50 lengths (pool very small, so this isn’t as much of an achievement as it could be). But the longest I’ve done here in a long time and I was pleased with myself, especially as I think this might be the last of the swimming pool days.
