A quiet day

After a light breakfast we met a friend of one of our Auckland friends for coffee and spent an enjoyable couple of hours chatting about lots of interesting things as if we’d known one another for ages.  

This afternoon MrMacD got out in the garden and I attended to some household chores that had been neglected over the last couple of weeks.  After supper we went out for a walk and decided to go for a drink in the Craft Brewery Pub.  We arrived at 8pm and they’d turned off the taps and were about to close.  So we walked along to the Criterion Hotel and had a beer and a G&T there, then walked back home.

The blip is a bit of an emergency blip - a poster in the ladies’ loo at the Criterion Hotel.  I thought some of the Blippers from Scotland might find it amusing.
