The Buddleia...

...comes up trumps again, on this lovely warm day. 

This butterfly bush has seen better days but it keeps pulling in crowds of fascinating butterflies and other insects, I could sit and watch them for hours (and have)! There's an abundance of Red Admirals this year and I lost count of just how many called on us today. They are most welcome along with our other attractive visitors, Small Tortoiseshells, Speckled Woods and Large Whites.
