Still Working

Showers until afternoon. Sunny later. About +20.

Back to the allotment for the evening. The second mowing with lower cutting level. Good, lawn is done for now despite wetness. Then collecting apples and some plums, onions, carrots and beetroots, tidying and cutting, gradually for the winter.

When we late came home and let water run in the bathroom, it happened again. The drain got blocked. We had the situation last on Jan 9th, because the water pipes of our apartment house are in very bad condition. Mr S used a plunger for a while. It helped. Thank goodness, we didn't need a maintenance man or a plumber at night. Renovation time of the house is still unknown, it should be somewhere in the future. The situation may become quite problematic before it.

But, back to the more positive things.
Aren't the mushrooms in the picture cute? As I said in a previous blip, mushrooms seem to grow everywhere because of the very rainy weathers lately. These ones grows in our allotment area, not in our garden. The species is sheathed woodtuft (Kuehneromyces mutabilis) and it's an excellent edible mushroom. They usually grow on the stumps of birches, sometimes on conifers, but also on the lawn.
