I'm still standing!

This tree has dead branches all around the edge of it, but is still standing and fighting on.  I didn't notice at the time, but you can see little faces all over the trunk, including a monkey!  I don't think an actual monkey has ever climbed this oak tree!

Friends visited us this afternoon and we had a good catch up.  And K liked the lemon and poppy seed gluten free cake that I had made for her, so that was good!
