On the Roof

We went to The Commandery for coffee this afternoon.   As usual we sat outside as the weather improved.   At one point there was the screaming of gulls overhead, they were seeing off a heron that had veered into their area.

A little while later we saw the bird land on the roof of a nearby house.  It was a fair distance but I managed some not very good photos.  After a while it puffed out its wings, possibly to dry off.

Back home it's Super Saturday in the US Open with four British players. We're watching Evans on TV and Draper on the tablet, both cracking matches, although Dan doesn't have a lot of chance against Carlos!
