Out of the Shadows

Monthly food market on at Ilkley as it’s the first Sunday in September.
Busy as usual, it’s a good market with lots of choice but l prefer the farmer’s market at Otley which is on the last Sunday in the month. 
That’s how l remember when they are on :-)

A lot have asked me what l thought of Barbie.
I never had a Barbie ( too old)
Rebecca, my daughter wasn’t interested in them, my granddaughters showed no interest either.
So went with an open mind and wanted to see what largest grossing movie of the year could offer.
It was great: Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were perfect and acted tongue in cheek throughout.
Loved the subtext which offered a pertinent message on how society treats people whatever their gender.
Most of all it was funny.
Don’t think l would go see Barbie 2 ( bound to happen when this one has made so much money)
