Quiet day at the beach

Despite the glorious weather there was almost no-one at the beach this morning. They were saying on the radio the other day that tourism is down 37% on last year. The 2 main reasons for this are the weather and the shortage of accomodation.
I started to paint a picket fence but:-
a) the paint was drying quicker than I could put it on
b)I was facing the sun so couldn't really see what I was doing
c)It was too fecking hot :)
Hopefully the sun will stay out for a few days so I get to finish it.
