Reunion

A busy, but happy, day. My sister Alison and husband Peter drove to Winchester,  from our Mother 's house, where they have been based for the past  week sorting out books and records and  other "stuff". 
We went to the Care Home to see Doris,  and to take her to the Care Home's fete, which was being held outside the home on the village green. A and P  hadn't  seen D for over a year, and had never  visited the care home. I hope my photo shows how happy was the  reunion.

In the evening Martin , A & P and I went for a meal in town, and then onto the theatre to see Alfie Moore (of  BBC Radio show "It's  a Fair Cop") who talked about his life and how he was a police officer, but always felt destined to be a stand up  comedian. He was as amusing as ever, and it was an entertaining evening. (He has  further radio shows in the pipeline, for other  fans reading this.).
