Quod oculus meus videt

Pelsall North Common

After yesterday's full day of activities I was quite glad to have a restful time.  I still popped out quickly to capture the mist that had formed around dawn, this time an aerial image of Pelsall North Common.  The straight section of the canal under the sun was built to service an iron works which originally lay to the left of the canal.  Even now you can come across small pieces of slag when walking in the area.

We watched the highlights of the horse trials on the TV, even noticing ourselves in the crowds on a couple of occasions.
