Trip out

Busy week coming up this week, and with the weather indicated good today decided to take a trip out to a National Trust property. About 40 mins drive from home, our journey was delayed by a few things:
- warm weather (everyone out in the fresh air, especially at Henley, everyone going to spend time by the river)
- cyclists out (in the nice weather)
- Sundays drivers (we added to this)
Collectively these all added to our journey which was very pleasant, roof down with tge wind in our hair (although not hubby as he’s bald).

Visited Nuffield Place - 1st time here. Lovely house, went on a guided tour. Not that the house is big but it’s good to have someone with knowledge of the background and can answer any questions.

After the tour, coffee and cake in the cafe area, then a walk around the gardens.

Didn’t stay as didn’t want to leave Lili on her own for too long (she was fine when we got home). We can come back.

Some extras of the garden flowers, couple of butterflies that were loving the buddleia and the “kit car” Morris at the front of the house.
