An Eider Duck and her ducklings

Another glorious day we were looking after our youngest granddaughter last night and took her to the beach today after we watched the Leith Gala parade.

I caught sight of a small group of Eiders and was delighted to see some ducklings. The shot is a bit cropped so is only a little better large!
