Avranches

We’re in France!
We left home at 03:30 after a rubbish night and arrived in Poole about 6:30 just in time for breakfast and checkin beginning. It was a beautiful smooth crossing and we arrived bang on time in Cherbourg at 1pm ( 2pm French time). I had made a packed lunch so we ate that before disembarking and headed south to Avranches , our first stop.
I’m chief navigator and spokesperson as well as checking we’re driving on the right :) R is in charge of driving so if he gets a speeding ticket it’s on him. Haha.
We’re hot and weary, but have had a wander round the town. Now after a shower we feel much better and are heading out for dinner!
