Corvid Fiesta

Nae Chance

We went to Glasgow in an attempt to see the Banksy exhibition. We arrived at 09:30 to be told there were no spaces and we’d need to be there by 07:30 to have any chance. We did a little Turfing and then went to the Burrell Collection, which we hadn’t been to since it was expanded. We went when it opened in the Eighties and thought the building more interesting than most of Burrell’s collection; we still think so today. The extra is some scenes in Glasgow; the Duke of Wellington, a couple of Rebel Bear’s street art and Eve after the fall by Rodin. We did buy the Book of Banksy’s art though at the Burrell Collection as some sort of recompense for not getting to the exhibition.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Lace.
