Guillemot Rock

This stack just beside the Sumburgh Head Lighthouse is, for much of the  year, home for a huge number of guillemots.  But at this time of year the guillies have deserted it and headed to sea, leaving the local shag population lots of space.

And on a blustery Monday morning there was lots of wave action too.
