Looking down

It's been a lovely sunny day and we decided to go for a walk in the morning.  We drove to the Donkey Sanctuary where we had a quick coffee and then headed down to Weston Beach.  The exact location is about half way in the image.  After enjoying looking at the sea but not tempted in we then climbed back onto the coast path.  It was then a very steep climb up to the cliffs at the top and then along the cliff top to Salcombe.  There were some lovely views in both directions including this one looking east towards Branscombe and Lyme Regis.

We walked through Salcombe village and it was then only a short distance back to our starting place where a much needed late lunch was taken.

A dentist appointment in the late afternoon and then it was my plan to bake a chocolate cake to take with me tomorrow.  Funnily enough I was interrupted by phone calls from two friends I hadn't heard from for a very long time.  The cake baking took place pretty late tonight but good to catch up with old friends.
