Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Pigeon on a hot tin roof.

The shelter on the golf course lit up by the setting sun on a hot day when the mercury reached 28 degrees. By our standards that is a hot day indeed.

To my eye the building has a distinctly Oriental look to it. It is a clever design that provides shelter from all 4 quadrants of the compass.

Extra. The scanning of the family photographs continues. This is Mistress Talpa in the Autumn of 1970, just before we headed off to the Fiji islands. Taken with my trusty old Leica 3b.
