History

An old school friend is visiting her Sister this week and we met up with another friend for lunch. On the way home we stopped in a small hamlet, called Gatcombe. This cottage is where the sisters’ grandfather was born. He had 11 siblings and the cottage was literally a ‘two up, two down’. I expect, were it for sale today, it would cost a fortune!!!
