What I've Done

Dolomites - Day 2

We caught the bus to Plan del Gralba, and took the Piz Seteur lift up to the first stage. Walked through the Stone City (as it's known) to the bottom of The Sassolungo "coffin" lift (so named as the gondolas just fit two standing). Getting on and off the lift is a real experience.

Deb had a migraine last night, so we were planning a very gentle day. We descended on the coffin lifts as well, before walking back through the  stone city and planned to catch the Ciampinoi lift down to Selva, but somehow ended up on path 21A all the way back, walking a total of 9.6 miles - less than yesterday, but more than we'd planned to!

Main pic is walking towards the Sassolungo lifts, through the beautiful meadows, ( I can't resist a fence as a lead line). A couple of extras -  the first of the coffin lifts, the second of Sassolungo itself.
